My name is Jeremy Landis.  I am a conceptual/commercial photographer and a documentary cinematographer based in Loveland, CO.

I began my photography career 2 1/2 years ago when I purchased my first camera (a Nikon D5000 - adorned with 2 SB-28's). With these new tools, I discovered I could capture and display the world in an artistic fashion. The D5000 gave me an outlet for the artistic ideas and images that I could not paint or draw. As with all adventures that I adopt, I began researching and exploring all the technological options that could be used to improve and expand my photography skills. I now have a much greater collection of photographic skills, knowledge, and equipment. However, I still have my initial drive and excitement for the possibilities and abilities that photography has allowed me. My greatest talent in photography is my ability to see and decipher light. I have an natural ability to  see how light falls and best works for capturing and expressing an image.

As for cinematography, I have been directing, capturing, and editing for 6 years. My skills in video began when I was employed to design videos for church media. I have since stepped out into the realm of sports, wedding, editorial, commercial, and music videos as a producer, director-of-photography, editor, and visionary.

I photograph people in studio and on location. I love to travel and meet people in there own environment. It allows me a window into who they are and what they expect from their photos. People usually come to me for photography when they want to capture a fictional (conceptual) image.
I also love to travel to capture and create video. However, in video I typical capture reality in a documentary style.

People say that I am a funny guy. I love to meet new people and I am far from shy. I do not claim to know all there is to know about photography or cinematography, but I am a research geek and I always find a solution to anything I do not already know how to accomplish with only the best results.
It's not surprising that I love to capture beauty, being that I am surrounded by it at home. I have three amazing girls in my life. I’m proudly married to my best friend and the love of my life, Crystal; my greatest accomplishment to date is my awesome baby girl, Lily; and the family would not be complete with out our sweet puppy, Shae. These three inspire me and keep me motivated to embrace beauty through art.
